What have I done?

I’ve worked in a multitude of creative mediums including TV/video, digital, social, direct marketing, OOH, and creative brand collateral. I lead campaign concepting, write copy, pitch to internal stakeholders and external clients, and creatively direct the work with both internal teams and external partners.

  • Experience as a creative director, copywriter, and video director on clients such as DISH, Sling TV, OnTech, Frosted Flakes, Cottonelle toilet paper, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and more.

  • Creative and strategic roles at both internal and external agencies.

  • Worked with in-house creative teams and external agencies

  • Lead integrated campaigns on shoestring budgets and maximized capture of assets.

  • Part of core 4 person leadership team that grew OneTen at DISH from a 20 person internal production team to an 80 person full service internal agency from 2015-2022.

  • Save the DISH enterprise $10mm YOY on advertising and marketing assets – not including revenue generated from produced creative.

It’s OK to be a daydreamer – just not when handling a chain saw.

Chores. Most of us grew up hating them. Taking out the trash. Doing the dishes. Mowing the lawn. Or in my case, cutting up 10 cord of firewood with a chainsaw in the blistering August sun.

With the exception of the chainsaw, I’d get lost in daydreams to help pass the time while schlepping gravel or digging post holes. I would conjure up movie plots, new product inventions and even ad campaigns for those inventions.

Nowadays, I use my imagination to do the heavy lifting for stuff like directing videos and integrated campaigns. On the plus side, I don’t have to worry about losing a finger with a keyboard.
