Forward Together: Connect More

The Problem
Parents and teens weren’t talking – at least not in ways that built connection. Our client needed an integrated, social-first, bilingual campaign to close that gap. But there was a catch: it couldn’t sound like another “public health” lecture. It had to feel human, spontaneous, and scroll-stopping.

The Insight
Parenting is a lot like a game show. Full of wild guesses, surprise wins, and the occasional awkward moment. When we treated parent/teen connections like an engaging, thought-provoking game instead of a lecture, families let their guard down. And, laughter became the gateway to real conversations.

The Solution
We created Connect More, a bilingual campaign that turned communication into play. Real Colorado families stepped into a game-show setup with no idea what questions were coming. The result was raw, funny, and unexpectedly heartfelt.

We built out a full ecosystem: a bilingual video series for Instagram and TikTok (plus teasers), a redesigned Forward Together website, and a downloadable toolkit with posters and fact sheets. We even made a real take-home version of the game so families could keep playing – and connecting – offline. Engagement soared, website visits climbed, and we earned another Emmy nomination for the work.
